KenBC Strategic
Plan for 2007

_________________________________________________________________________________________
The
Kenyan Community in British Columbia (KenBC) brings together the
many immigrants who have made B.C. their home. The society provides
a forum to socialize and strives to make the transition to living in
Canada for new members as informed and hassle-free as possible by
using the knowledge gained through similar experience.
Additionally, KenBC aspires to encourage exchanges of information,
ideas, the promotion of friendships, travel and goodwill with all
the different peoples and nationalities we come into contact with.
Kenya has a fascinating history and diversity of culture. There
are over forty-two different communities, speaking several
languages, all living in harmony. It is home to lots of exciting
wildlife, beautiful mountains, rainforests, and endless white
beaches. Mt. Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa and the
western part of the country borders on Lake Victoria, the source of
the Nile.
